The Whistle, not to be confused with the Georgia Tech Whistle, is a paper published every Monday during the academic year and bi-weekly throughout the summer [2]. Unlike its cousin, The Technique which is run by the student body, The Whistle is a faculty/staff online newspaper. It reports on the current news about Georgia Tech such as construction, future plans, research, and other important issues pertaining to the advancement of Tech. It is written more for the faculty and alumni than for the students. Articles pertaining to student life are usually not included in The Whistle publications.
